Small Business Saturday is an annual holiday shopping tradition, founded by American Express, with over 70% national awareness — a day sanctioned by government officials that drives billions of sales at small businesses across the nation.
In it’s 9th year, the theme was ALL FOR SMALL. Celebrating the shoppers who live in vibrant and diverse communities across this country and who all come together at their small businesses.

These geo-targeted videos focused on local small business trends in 50 neighborhoods across 10 DMAs. Celebrating the Shop Small trends that make each neighborhood unique, they give local shoppers a customized reason to participate on the day.

We introduced a social action via Instagram stories asking shoppers to give a shout out to their favorite small businesses — the ones they are ALL FOR. And we introduced a library of fun Shop Small GIPHY stickers for them to customize their stories with.
