Founded by American Express in 2010, Small Business Saturday is a nationally recognized shopping tradition that happens every year on the Saturday after Thanskgiving. It brings communities together to shop at their small businesses — celebrating the places that fuel their local economy and make thier neighborhood or town feel like home.In 2017, we celebrated our relationship to the Small Businesses we couldn’t live without. The ones we hold near and dear and call our own.
Shopping Small with Shaq
We followed Shaq as he shopped small at the places calls his own. Videos were seeded through social and produced via partnership with Turner.
Appeared leading up to SBS reminding Shoppers to get out and Shop Small®.
In 2017, we refreshed the photo library for the program with a shoot at 17 businesses in 3 cities. Casting real families, friends and shop owners. Shot with Kate T. Parker.

The website also got a lift to include the impressive history of Small Business Saturday.
